Here are list of things that one designer sees in company’s job profile before he even thinks to go for interview….

  1. Does Company Has Website?
  2. Does company website has right domain name & extension ethics applied to it?
  3. Does that website really use today’s web standards?
  4. Does company Logo really up to the mark?
  5. Choice of Company’s Color for their Brand
  6. How many other designer are employed?
  7. What is Position & grade?
  8. What Operating System Platform that company uses?
  9. Does they use industry leading softwares?
  10. Does company really understands the design process?
  11. Are other designers employed in company are happy with their work?
  12. Does company has canteen?
  13. What is lunch time?
  14. What are regulation of working late & working overtime?
  15. Can company allow freelance work from other companies?
  16. What is work time?
  17. Does they have shifts?
  18. How & what type of transport is available to commute from home to office?
  19. Does company has free internet?
  20. What are international locations that company is located in?
  21. What are company’s main business?
  22. Exact count of company’s current employees…
  23. Is Saturday & Sunday OFF?
  24. Does company has it’s own transport for their employees?
  25. Does Company has Payroll & Provident Fund Facility?
  26. What past employees are talking about the company?
  27. Does company has their own email server & service?
  28. Does company give frequent salary increments & benefits & incentives?
  29. How tight is security of IT properties?
  30. How many days are allowed to take leave?

So, here it is, it really explains mind set of designer joining some company…!!!
