Let me share my story.
As a designer who chose to learn programming, I’ve been creating Apple App Store apps since the iPhone’s App Store launched.
Because I’m a designer first, I always make sure my programming instincts check for design consistency before I start coding.
I used to keep almost 500+ lines of code that handled font and icon sizes for every device my app supported.
One day while having a bath, I had an idea to simplify it because it was getting in the way of my thinking.
In just a few minutes, I replaced those 500+ lines with just 4 lines that set sizes based on the view’s ratio.
So, it took me almost 8+ years to get to this point, or maybe just a lot of coding experience from HTML-CSS to ActionScript to Objective-C to Swift, plus a daily bath. 😉
Thanks and Regards
