I came across a post from a stand-up comedian who creates jokes about India and earns a living from them.
The New Modern Era Picasso or M. F. Hussain
Remember M.F. Hussain? He was famous for making offensive paintings of Hindu goddesses like Devi Saraswati and Devi Laxmi in inappropriate ways. These paintings misrepresented the aesthetics of these deities, which he named Hindu God Laxmi.
It seems his corrupt mind simply wanted to disrupt society and he sat at home, enjoying himself.
Now, no one hosts his shows for Kunal Kamra. He’s retreated to his run-down home in South India and spends his time watching the country burn while scrolling through social media.
This is his new form of activism. He’s overweight because he eats too much rubbish. He’s so crazy that he uses animal urine on his clothes or toilet tissue as a shirt. He even wears drawings of the constitution as a shirt and shows solitary seating at home.
Is wearing the constitution or holding a small red book really making a point? Is it just small talk or a way to show hatred for the constitution he supposedly supports?
It’s just his mental illness or his messed-up brain that wants to have fun. He posts videos of himself speaking in a slurred voice where he can’t even pronounce words correctly. He doesn’t know if his audience is laughing at him, his jokes, or his drunken speech.
History Repeats Itself
I believe the Indian legal system needs to intervene. People like him make public statements, and history will repeat itself. Just like M.F. Hussain had to flee the country for making offensive and hateful paintings about other religions’ gods, where he lives in India itself.
