A Reality and Illusions of Marathi Movie Stars and Film Industry. Written on onset of Phullwanti Movie.

Background

Yesterday I saw a Marathi movie called Phullwanti. But I was amazed that when I booked a ticket 18 hours before there were no bookings for the hall, I was the first to make a booking of two.

Now today, when I entered a cinema hall, there were only a maximum 10 to 15 seats, and remaining almost all 95% seats were empty.

Now Phullwanti Film Review:

Pros:

1. The cinematography was great and would match any Bollywood or Hollywood movie.
2. Music, colors, and costume design were great also.
3. But only I was impressed with Prajakta Mali and Gashmeer Mahajani’s acting.

Cons:

1. Common Issue with Filmstars and Their Best Buddies or Close Friends. After Prajakata and Gashmeer, there are no more good actors; they have employed themselves or their wives or best friends. So no perfect choice for actors for suitable roles.
2. There are all Hasya Jatra actors in this film, so am I watching Hasya Jatra or Phullwanti Movie? So seriousness of movie is gone, people start laughing once they see Hasya Jatra actos.
3. Today’s actors are so overexposed themselves on social media or TV serials or reality TV channels, I am really fed up watching them again on the big screen.
4. Even a singer like Shankar Mahadevan sings his own songs, so now listening to Shankar Mahadevan is like lame experience who wants to create music to give a chance to himself and his children to make money for themselves.
5. The serious problem is that individuals like Subodh Bhave, Girija Godble and her husband Suhrud Godbole, Vibhavari Deshpande, or even directors like Sameer Vidwans have posted objectional material like Black Lives Matter or posted on Twitter against issues like NRC that these individuals are really concerned for Muslims that they will be thrown out of a country called India. But there is no mention by the government that they will do so when they will legalise NRC Law.
6. Now individuals like Chinmay Mandlekar, who acted as Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj, named his child Jahangeer, who was Mughal Emporar and killed millions of Hindus. So people on Twitter confronted him about why he named his child Jahangir, just like Karrena and Saif Ali Khan named their child Taimur, who was a Hindu mass murderer. Then, just like Kareena Kapur says, don’t watch my movies. Chimay Mandlekar’s wife comes live on social media and says they are very fed up with this audience behavior, and then Chinmay Mandlekar says I am going to do nomore role of Chhtrapayi Shivaji Maharaj in the future. But who told you to do a movie in the first place? By choice, you become an actor, then you post on social media that you will not do Hindu Warrior movie and post this in public. What if you kept it to yourselves? Do it quietly.
7. So in a way, these people have lost their support or audience even before their movies get released.
8. Now back to social media, these individuals who are public figures because of being film actors post their drunk photos or how they enjoy beer, vodka, chiken, or fish or like to smoke. So it makes the audience think their child should follow these kinds of stars or have alternate controllable experiences for their children.
9. Now back to the Dalit vs. Maratha vs. Brahman issue. There are film personalities like Nagraj Manjule, Sujay Dahake, Kiran Mane, and Adarsh Shinde who speak loads about subjects and personalities like Brahman cast, Swatantryaveer Savarkar, or Lokmany Balgangadhar Tilak just to demean them or defame them. Then it gets more serious about individuals like me, who is Hindu, Brahman, and a follower of Swatantraveer Savarkar and Lokmanya Tilak. If these people are really bad, launch a legal case against Savarkar, Tilak, and all Brahmans and just get it sorted out. Or may be vice versa, or I will stop watching these individual movies or just abndon their films and music shows by not watching their faces, films, or TV shows. It is just my personal decision and may be public at large who don’t want to buy actors misbehaviour.
10. This stars so overexposed themselves in a bad way that I don’t want to watch their films now by spending my money or wasting their bad undervalue experience and feeding their pockets so that they abuse me the next day on social media about my cast and religion.
11. There is an actor called Siddharth Jadhav. In an interview, he says his films got less audience because Hollywood and Bollywood movies got released the same day. Then why not work on your film skills and acting skills and produce Maratrhi Movie with Siddharth Jadhav as lead that Hollywood or Bollywood will get scared of?
12. Even about Bollywood, I have never going to watch any Khan or Kapoor movie. I am really done with Anti-National Elements getting money from Dubai to defame India.

1. I give you an example of MF Hussain who painted objectional paintings of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Who got life threats in laters stage aftre this paintings got released in public. Which was right as an Artist you have no right to post objectional nudes of Gods and Goddesses of Religion you are not belong to even any other religion. As an artist you may be high on your art, alcohol or any other substance but you are no God or Chief Justice of India to comment on someone’s cast or religion.
2. This same happened with Raja Ravi Varma he even has to appear to court but got released as no priest or laywers found it no objectional material or obscenity.
3. Now you decide who you want to be a MF Hussain or Raja Ravi Varma whos paintings worship in temples since and till now.
