User experience design (UXD or UED) is the process of enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction between the user and the product. User experience design encompasses traditional human–computer interaction (HCI) design, and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.

  • Want to attend a design interview? What will you carry in to showcase your design portfolio, and what will cost less to your pocket? MacBook? MacBook Air? or Just An iPad

For almost the last year or two, I have been surrounded by this question….

You want to attend an interview with a big company for a post related to the design industry…

Then what will you carry with your MacBook? or MacBook Air? or iPad…

Carrying your whole work portfolio on a CD or Flash Drive is risky as a recruiter may copy your work to their computer without asking you to do so. So there is the possibility of theft of your intellectual property… So, the right way to carry out your work would be on your Mac.

What would be your next portable machine if you owned a desktop, like an iMac or Mac Pro? A MacBook or MacBook Air or iPad.

It will be the right way to compare these Apple Products would be through their Price, Display Resolution Size, User Interaction and experience.

Practically thinking all are Portables or Tablet & they all have Multi-Touch Gesture Support.

All are costly: MacBook is $1,000, MacBook Air is $1,500, and iPad is $829.

MacBook & MacBook have Mechanical keyboards, but the iPad has a Modern Multi-Touch UI that is groundbreaking in the Industry that even competitors are not catching up with,

iPad 2 is with the duel processing in Tablet Form,

MacBook Air & iPad have no optical media support, but all have WiFi inbuilt… But Adobe Flash Player is not supported on iPad.

iPad Display Resolution is 1024px by 768px, MacBook’s Display Resolution is 1280px by 800px, MacBook Air’s Display Resolution is 1440px by 900px.

  • Unsubscribe, Delete, Forget, Relax

Few day’s ago I deleted all Automated Facebook Messages & Mails sent to my E Mail ID & I also deleted mails related to old Orkut Stuffs….

It was mess of 1,500 to 2,000 Meassages…. Which was useless from any point of time & relevance…

First step to relaxation is to unsubscribe from Autogenerated Mailing list from your Facebook Account Settings Then physically deleting old mail junk from your cluttered inbox… & Then looking at the bottom of GMail Stats of growing Unused Gmail Capacity… & Just feeling the peace of mind…

  • My Notes about User Experience Design that I learn on My Website’s Design Portfolio Page

On Day one of my website I had static 3 page website that I made in iWeb almost one year back in year 2010…

WordPress was my Ver. 02’s website’s CMS & Yes! It’s deployment & decision was successful.

Art Portfolio was the name of front page almost 10 months back… It had 3 blocks of images that were to facilitate as icons so that people can click over it to perform lightbox style animation that will open bigger image over page & every other content will black out…

Practically speaking it was just small content only three artworks… & people don’t know what to do with it… there was no message written over it to tell user to click over it to view bigger image… So it was unsuccessful approach of mine to showcase my artwork on my portfolio page.
