  • Art & Design Competition in Maharashtra, India – ‘State Art’, Maharashtra State Art Competition by Directorate of Art Maharashtra State

    This competition is famous for the name State Art.

    Competition Information & Admission Forms are issued in the First Week of November Every Year & Submission of Admission Forms & Artwork for State Art are collected & submitted in the next Month i.e Every 3rd or 4th Week of December.

    Results are declared in January’s first or second week or so, and the Exhibition is scheduled for seven days, i.e., a Full Week in February or March.

    Submission Requirements & Rules

    1. You, i.e. Participant, must be in Residence of the State of Maharashtra for the last 10 years or so.
    2. A Domicile Certificate signed by the concerned authority as proof of residence in Maharashtra for the last 10 years has to be submitted with the form.
    3. Well Framed artwork should be submitted with submission as an entry
    4. Image (JPEG or JPG Files) files of respective submissions have to be submitted on CD (Compact Disk) with form

    Here are few thoughts that I can sum up to determine why India is Facing ‘Brain Drain’ at highest level than any country on planet called ‘Earth’

    Falling Indian Rupees Value

    Today Indian Rupees stands 55 Rupees per 1 Dollar

    So when ever you earn your sallery in Dollars you earn 55 times more than American Dollar

    So it is easy choice for any Indian Student looking for Job opportunity prefers always Salaried Job in America where he get paid in American Dollars for same amount of work he would do in Indian subcontinent

  • How Odd Numbers are out & Even Numbers are in for Web Designer & Icon Designer or even for any designer

    While I was designing Icons for my client, I realised that it is true in website design as it is in Icon Design: you can work in odd numbers,

    When you have even numbers like 14px Square or 16px Square, you can easily fit a round box inside it, but in a 15px Square Icon, it’s tough to manage…

    Here is The example…

    Odd Numbers of Pixels:

    Even Numbers of Pixels:

    10px by 10px, with 1px of rounded corners, it fails to generate an illusion of circular when viewed at actual size or maximum size

  • Why I left Facebook for good & removed all my Business Facebook pages integration from all of my websites

    Over last 2 years I was using Facebook for good, to just popularise my business via Facebook Pages, Find old friends to whom I am not in touch with or just be in touch with current real friends

    But History of Facebook Founder & Facebook Technology brand Itself forced me away from it to start to leave Facebook for good,

    Here is why…

    1. Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg has personal & professional history of Idea Theft & Intellectual Property theft
    2. Facebook has mysterious behaviour over advertising
    3. Facebook looks fake when you want clear & transparent social network system
    4. I personally can’t trust Facebook & It’s Intelligence & It’s Code & It’s Founder
    5. Facebook Shares are dead investment
    6. I can’t put my business brand in hands of untrustworthy behaviour of Facebook Coding staff who displays my posts on Business Page’s at their own will i.e. they display my post when they want it to show to people
    7. Facebook is untrustworthy
    8. Facebook has multiple fake identities of same person on Facebook friend suggest
    9. Facebook’s User Agreement is Anti User so when ever you post idea on Facebook, Facebook owns your idea & concept because it is stated in their user Agreement which you agreed before signing to Facebook
    10. Facebook seems to be monetised in every area over next coming month just to post as it is now public company
    11. Facebook has history of tracking user without his consent or prior permission
    12. When you post about good of Facebook Rivals on Facebook itself posts get auto deleted or gets vanishes by itself from Facebook as you can’t post about Google Plus on Facebook it reads strange but it’s true
    13. Facebook has fake groups & fake user identities
    14. Facebook has history of stealing content
    15. Deleting your data like images or post from Facebook doesn’t really get deleted from Facebook Servers it gets deleted when Facebook Staffers actually approves to delete your content & data
    16. Facebook Share is dropping in value everyday
    17. One day there will be no existence of Facebook
    18. Mark Zuckerberg imitates Steve Jobs in mannerism, talking & clothing style but he does vary poor job in doing that, I can’t rely on fake personality as Mark than following Steve just for sake of business inspirations
    19. Account hacking or Account Hijacking on Facebook is tremendous
    20. Advertising on Facebook is taking over idea of free social interaction
    21. It seems it’s not you that control your content it’s Facebook that controls your content which is in way fraud & bit of odd
    22. Facebook is another Orkut
    23. Facebook now has sponsored post which are generated through computers’ algorithms i.e post not be humans or friends
    24. Facebook Resets & hijacks your privacy settings at their own will
    25. There is one incident that when Facebook Mail IDs started arriving they (Facebook) hijacked user’s email ID settings to force use of Facebook’s own mail Ids…
    26. It seems character of Facebook as company has flaws & hint of you can’t trust them on their operations
    27. Facebook Ads impersonates you when it is advertise product on your friends profile
    28. It seems Facebook doesn’t generate any more referral traffic to your website through your Facebook page
    29. It’s really ugly activity to manage Facebook pages with impersonating comments & post by fake peoples with fake identities

  • Setting Spell Checker & Writing Language of Mac OSX from US English to British English to avoid Spelling Error Suggestions like from Scrutinise to Scrutinize

    It really sometime annoying to received spelling mistake error from Mac OSX Operating system that it shows & underlines with red ‘Scrutinise’ to change as ‘Scrutinize’

    Here is method to fix that,

    Go to System Preferances,

    Choose ‘Language & text’

  • Bye Bye Adobe & Welcome Pixelmator & OpenSource

    Today I bought Original License for Pixelmator from Mac App Store for Mountain Lion OSX.

    It’s really crazy in India to be a owner of original Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, inDesign all Adobe Products because all of this products cost in real life situation 80,000 INR per licenses & per product.

    So all of purchased of this genuine  Adobe Products costs me 2,50,000 INR or more. So it really sucks to be owner of Photoshop where Mac App like ‘Pielmator’ is available for under 1,000 INR i.e. just for 800 INR (or Rupees).

    2. Does company website has right domain name & extension ethics applied to it?
    3. Does that website really use today’s web standards?
    4. Does company Logo really up to the mark?
    5. Choice of Company’s Color for their Brand
    7. How many other designer are employed?
    8. What is Position & grade?
    9. What Operating System Platform that company uses?
    10. Does they use industry leading softwares?
    11. Does company really understands the design process?
    12. Are other designers employed in company are happy with their work?
    13. Does company has canteen?
    14. What is lunch time?
    15. What are regulation of working late & working overtime?
    16. Can company allow freelance work from other companies?
    17. What is work time?
    18. Does they have shifts?
    19. How & what type of transport is available to commute from home to office?
    20. Does company has free internet?
    21. What are international locations that company is located in?
    22. What are company’s main business?
    23. Exact count of company’s current employees…
    24. Is Saturday & Sunday OFF?
    25. Does company has it’s own transport for their employees?
    26. Does Company has Payroll & Provident Fund Facility?
    27. What past employees are talking about the company?
    28. Does company has their own email server & service?
    29. Does company give frequent salary increments & benefits & incentives?
    30. How tight is security of IT properties?
    31. How many days are allowed to take leave?

    So, here it is, it really explains mind set of designer joining some company…!!!
